It’s a wide open secret! We want you to know! The EGR Friends conduct daily book sales of current and classic favorites. You’ll find the Friends' Corner Book Shop on the upper level of the East Grand Rapids branch of the Kent District Library.
Donated by generous booklovers in our community like you (Thank you very much!), these gently used books are the town’s biggest bargain. If you have books that need a new home, please consider donating them to the EGR Friends' Corner Book Shop.
Donating is really easy: just bring your books, CDs and DVDs to the library’s front desk. At the time you donate, ask the librarian for your tax receipt. You’ll be in charge of determining the value of your gift. It’s that easy. You can be sure your patronage will expand the support the Friends can give to our library.
The selection is diverse and includes many categories, such as mysteries, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, classics, home and garden, spirituality, finance, hobbies, travel and health/diet.
Another big selection is available in children’s books…and all of the books, many of which are current releases, are some of the best bargains to be found anywhere.
And, you can come back often because the busy EGR Friends restock throughout the week, so you’ll always find something new!
You’ll find all the categories noted and the careful sorting of books received and sold is 100% staffed by Friends of the EGR Library members and volunteers.
The best news is that your support of the Friends' Corner Book Shop helps provide EGR Friends programming, some of our library’s material needs, and the many activities the Friends underwrite.
